Spoon Bracelet

I had seen online where people had made bracelets out of the handles of nice silver spoons. I did not have any of these spoons, so I decided to try with some cheeper spoons that I found at the night market. I am looking forward to making more when I can find nicer spoons as well.

Robobugs

At the art center we had over a hundred old CPUs so I was pulling them apart so that we can make recycled art with them. I had a bit of free time and I was playing with LEDs and the battery from the motherboard. So I made this little guy. Afterword I made 3 more and we sold them as part of our art center weekend. RM10 per Robobug.

Pull String Bags 2

I made two more of the bags, one of the same black cloth and one out of soft leather. The small one in the picture is the one I made before for size comparison. I still need to put string in them. I am thinking of some black cord that I have because it is a bit more sturdy.

Pull string bag

I saw a similar designed bag at a shop a week or so back and I thought I could make that. I like that it is simple but functional. This one is made from some black scrap cloth I had laying around, but I am hoping to make more. I would like to use other fabrics as well as make a few different sizes.

I have an adaptor that lets me use a usb keyboard with my phone. So I can just carry a small keyboard and my phone, but I did not want the keyboard to get damaged so I made a simple case for it out of leather that I had laying around.

A while ago

I was doing perspective drawings of a purposed art center and needed to draw something different for a bit. Not so full of straight lines and to scale. So my friend said he wanted to see a turtle licking a cat. This is just a rough doodle, but it made a few of us laugh so I thought I would share it.

I have also learned to Crochet recently as well. I have made a variety of things. But this post is about a hat I made. I started it the night before I had a flight from Singapore to Penang. I was getting some strange looks while working on it in the airport, but it was done in time for me to put it on as I sat down in the plane. The weird looks turned into jealous looks.

One of my friends really likes Power Puff Girls. So while they were out of town I painted Bubbles and Mojo Jojo his two favorite characters on his motorbike. (I told him I was going to) I only got the outlines done before he came back. And I intended to finish them, but his motorbike was stollen a couple weeks later. (No we don't think it was because of the Power Puff Girls) So these pictures are all we have left. Funny enough he was more upset about not getting to see the finished drawings then loosing his bike. So I told him next Bike he gets I will do them again only nicer. (Maybe Airbrush)

I have a tribal flute from Cambodia that a friend gave me. Later was doing renovations and had extra PVC laying around and thought I could make a flute out of that, so I made several. I gave a couple away, this is one of the more simple ones that I kept. I do not think the tuning is perfect but it is fun to play around with.

For the Media company I work with was having a summit/ retreat instead of our normal media conference since it was our 7th year. We usually have T-shirts as part of the conference, but since we wanted to have rest we did pillows made from T-shirts that we had. They had been too small, but worked well for pillow covers. I did not do these alone, my friend helped a lot in the design and making of them so I do not take full credit for this.

This I made out of scrap wire a while ago, it has been in my room for quite some time.

I had done a random sketch of a penguin and before i finished I put it scanned it and then I changed it in the computer. My friend was in a meeting and I was about to go to one so I did this.

Black and White buddies

This is a T-shirt, design that I did. I am still toying with the idea of putting the words "Black and White buddies" over it.

I have wanted to make a coin ring traditionally made from 50cent coins prior to 1962, cause they have a large silver content making them silver rings. I do not have one of these coins so I thought I would try something else. When done right you can still read the inscription on the inside.

My friend wanted a fun journal that they could keep using, so I made a removable cover for the a regular sketchbook.

It has been a long time since I have posted, I have several things that I have done, some quite a while ago some still working on, but a friend challenged me to put more things up. So here is the first, this is a bag I made out of leather scraps a while ago. I was going to refine it more but I ended up liking it the way it was.
